What problems should you pay attention to when shrink wrap? Mainly divided into two aspects：
shrink wrap machine problems and shrink wrap film problems.
Shrink wrap machine problems:
〇 Because the heat shrinking furnace consumes a lot of power, the power of the input power source must be greater than the standard power on the nameplate of the shrinking machine, otherwise it is easy to burn the line or electrical components.
〇 During the packaging process, the film is easily offset and cannot be fed normally, which may result in the machine not being able to properly package the object. The position of the packaging film and the tension balance bar can be adjusted. If both are invalid, you can fix it by adjusting the angle of the upper triangle. If the upper packaging material deviates from the zipper, the upper triangle can be adjusted clockwise, the film material deviates from the zipper, and the upper triangle can be adjusted counterclockwise.
〇 In the packaging process, packaging components rise slowly or fail to meet standard packaging temperatures (over 160 degrees Celsius), this problem can make the packaging not achieve the desired results. The heating process depends on the heater. The main power line of the heater should be checked first. The circuit of the heater is that the main power line passes through a flux switch and then to the electric heating tube. Therefore, it should first be detected whether the contact point of the magnetic switch is normal. If the magnetic switch is normal, you can check the meter to see if the phase is the same as the machine's ohmic value. If it is normal, it should be shorted. If all phases are connected, but the line or heater is still abnormal, replace the heater.
Shrink wrap film problems:
When choosing the shrink film, first of all, we should consider what are the requirements for shrink film of the product we want to package, secondly, the shrink film should have enough heat sealing strength and tensile strength, impact strength, tear resistance, appropriate moisture resistance and oil resistance. At present, polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) are widely used in shrink film, followed by polyvinylidene chloride (PVDC), polyester (PET), polystyrene (EPS), ethylene - vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA).
